In her exhibition ‘Beyond The Shore’, Laura Gill has captured the essence of the sea by creating powerful imagery through her distinctive use of movement and rhythm. Her paintings and prints convey a sense of wonder and, at times, trepidation in this inimitable collection of work.
About the Artist…
The movement of the human figure portrayed within a powerful atmospheric context has been the main focus of Laura Gill’s artwork since graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2011 with a Masters degree in Fine Art. Her knowledge of art history has been a constant source of reference and is embedded in the subject matter and style of much of her work.
