Karen’s work is inspired by her surroundings in the hills and coast of East Lothian and by travel.

Work inspired by travel often features colourful washing lines.

 She works in a range of materials including oil, beeswax and varnishes, and she has recently been experimenting with acrylic and mixed media to produce her most recent work, which will feature in the Spotlight.
