Nicky Sanderson is a prize winning artist printmaker inspired by shoreline and coastal habitats. Her work aims to raise awareness of the fragility of our ocean in order to encourage the viewer to share her concern and sense of responsibility for its vulnerability.
Working with paint and print, Nicky creates jewel-like layers and textures which she finds at the intertidal shoreline around Scotland; from seaweed and rock pools, to jellyfish and sand patterns, the possibilities are endless. Choose from a selection of paintings, cyanotypes, gelli prints and screen prints.
