DATES FOR YOUR 2025 DIARY WHEN WE’LL BE CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF COBURG OPEN STUDIOS EVENTS!
WINTER OPEN STUDIOS 2025:
Friday 5th December 6-9pm
Saturday 6th + Sunday 7th December 10-5pm
Our time to open our big red (and MuralEd!) shutter and invite you in for an open studios event like no other.
Our bi-annual open studios events are like a big party where we invite you behind the scenes of our 50+ studio doors for a bustling and exciting open-doors event.
We will open doors on all four floors of the building so you can peek into our working studios and see what we’ve been creating.
There’ll be art, design and craft carefully made by our 50+ creatives, and a chance to get your hands on original gifts and goodies made right here in the heart of Leith.
Coburg House is a former granary/seed storage, and our studios have gradually taken over the building in the 20+ years we have been here. This has made the building a bit of a maze to find your way around, but we’ve crafted a handy map to help! You can download it below, and you’ll find it peppered throughout the building too to help you get your bearings.
Plan Your Visit!
With four floors to explore and over 50 artists there’s lots to see.
The map below shows who’s taking part in our Open Studios and where you can find them in the building.
1000 Crane stairway installation.
When you visit you won’t be able to miss our beautiful collaborative installation hanging down our stairwell.
Created of 1000 origami cranes, to celebrate our 20 years of Open Studios.
The cranes symbolise peace, hope and community.
A huge thanks to Jane Dickinson and Kate Hadjucka for their organising of this project.
